Have you ever thought, “I think I need a new Bible,” only to realize there are SO many options that you don't even know where to begin?
Should you choose a journaling Bible or a study Bible? What translation should you use—and does it really matter if your Bible is one column or two?
If you're looking for a new Bible to use during your morning Bible study, you might be surprised by just how many options there are. And while all those choices can feel overwhelming, choosing a Bible doesn't have to be complicated.
In this episode, I’m sharing practical things to think about when choosing a Bible so you can find one that fits the way you want to spend time in God's Word. We'll talk about journaling Bibles, study Bibles, different Bible translations, and even the small details like one-column versus two-column layouts. I'll also share the Bibles I personally use and how I use them for both everyday Bible reading and deeper morning Bible study.
Whether you're choosing your first Bible, replacing an old one, or simply looking for a Bible that will better support your time with God, I hope this episode helps you feel less overwhelmed and more confident in your decision. You don't need the perfect Bible or a shelf full of resources—you just need something that helps you open God's Word and seek Him first.

Do you ever wonder if you're praying the "right" way?Do your prayers sometimes feel too simple, too messy, or not spiritual enough?Have you ever compared your prayers to the beautiful prayers you hear at church and wondered if yours measure up?
In this episode, I’m sharing encouragement about prayer and why your prayers don’t have to sound spiritual or polished to be meaningful, so you can feel more comfortable talking honestly with God during your morning quiet time. We’ll talk about why God cares more about your heart than your words, how you can bring your real-life thoughts, worries, fears, and excitement to Him, and why prayer is less about saying the perfect thing and more about building a genuine relationship with God. If you've ever felt intimidated by prayer or struggled to know what to say, this episode will remind you that you don't need fancy words or a perfect prayer—you simply need to come to God.

Do you ever wake up and just not feel like spending time with God? Have you ever wondered if it’s okay to pray or open your Bible when you don’t really feel connected, motivated, or even interested? What do you do when your feelings are telling you to skip your morning routine?
In this episode, I’m sharing why faithfulness matters more than feelings when it comes to spending time with God so you can acknowledge what you’re feeling without letting those feelings make your decisions for you. We’ll look at Psalm 42:11 and Galatians 5:16–17 and talk about how to replace thoughts rooted in discouragement, exhaustion, or doubt with the truth of God’s Word. If you’ve ever struggled to stay consistent with your morning routine because you simply don’t feel like it, this episode will encourage you to keep showing up, trust God’s faithfulness, and remember that your feelings are real—but they don’t have to be in charge.
